Meeting employer demands with education programs
CTE training – How does it work?
- Students can enroll from 11th grade
- From 11th – 12th grade, students can participate in a custom set of programs tailored to your Career and Technical Education (CTE) needs
- The courses serve as electives, and students will receive career and technical education (CTE) credits that count towards high school graduation requirements
- When the participating student graduates, they will receive a national certification
- Certifications prepare students for their chosen careers in healthcare or information technology
- If a student is interested in pursuing postsecondary education, it’s possible they can use their certification(s) towards college credits. The following post-secondary institutions give credit for prior learning
