Topic: Training That Leads to High-Demand Careers in Healthcare: Creative Approaches and Partnerships
The healthcare employment crisis spawned several interesting programs to quickly recruit and train allied healthcare workers, opening up a wide avenue for adults to find well-paying, skilled work. In this workshop, we will talk about the most in-demand allied healthcare careers, the training and certification programs needed to get those jobs. We will present creative partnership models like train-and-hire, hire-then-train, and apprenticeships. Through this process, we can also uncover other potential mutually beneficial partnerships.
